Harvest Horkey & Thanksgiving - 24 September 2023

First, I would like to thank all of you who supported the Horkey and Harvest Thanksgiving on 24 September, both visitors, and volunteers.  There have been so many thank yous and positive comments. It really was another very happy occasion. And the weather held.  Also - many thanks to the Bell family and associates for delivering such a good funfair.

This was the last of the big events for the Consortium.  It has been incredibly hard work and I have been miles outside my comfort zone but, working as a team and with good advice from and using the skills of those more experienced, we have fulfilled the expectations required by Historic England by making good use of the marketplace as a place of gathering;  introducing new skills; bringing together the community and having fun.
